On one of our hikes in 1979 we came across this property that was a rather run down mess with an old bus near the beach house and a rubbish dump next to the top house, but it still had a something "special" about it! 
 
In 1980 we got ten like - minded people to have a share in what had become a dream. We formed a Company  with a total number of ten equal shares and called it "Greehock Farms Ltd" We still have 3 original shareholders. 
              
Company assets consists of approx 18 acres, comprising of a private sheltered beach on the inner Manukau Harbour (great floundering and fishing) 2 fully furnished houses (each sleeping up to 9). 
 
The property is mainly for the benefit of the Shareholders. However income is derived from Shareholders fees, casual rental, & farm lease.
